February 9, 2022 - Sixpenny with the GMs: Caramel and mandarin with orange and nutty complexity. Tangy palate with plenty of bite and acidity. Drink now for this one.

July 16, 2016 - Beautiful and expressive. Nose is peach, floral, talc, white pepper, and just a bit of turmeric spice. Palate is bold and bright. Excellent with hors d'ouvres and aged olives. Amazingly long finish.

February 7, 2015 - Classic/textbook sur-voile Savagnin. Nutty, and sherried on the nose, saline and savory (umami in spades) on the palate. this had the body of a dessert wine, but was bone dry with good acidity giving it lift. Spectacular with a range of foods---chicken soup, Mac n cheese, quiches, and of course hard cheeses. A great white wine for winter.

September 21, 2014 - Travelling very nicely, and good drinking now. Classic Jura oxidative nose which then fades as you taste, giving way to fresh, bright juicy lime and apple. Good length.

September 18, 2014 - Mix of wines at Via Alta: Orange peel and fairly full on oxidative aromas. Palate has a saline element that works well with the oxidization and the acidity contributes to leaving a freshness to the wine. Good length and should age well over the medium term.
