June 7, 2019 - This was the fifth bottle we've opened of the 2000 Togni. While the wine does not show the nuances and power of better vintages, the wine seems to be getting incrementally better, albeit baby steps. However, performing this well at 19 years bodes very well for those stronger vintages, Black cherries, plums, licorice, and leather in the nose. Black cherries, blackberries, plums, currants, and hints of licorice, chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Somewhat elegant and bordeaux like, it is medium to full bodied with a medium to long smooth finish.

March 23, 2019 - 4th Saturday Group. It's been almost 5 years since I last had this. Holding well. Tasted non-blind tonight. I did not get the same Bordeaux profile as the last bottle, but that may be due to knowing what it was. A lovely bottle.

March 23, 2019 - 4th Saturday group uptown tasting (R&D's): From magnum. Currant, cassis, leather and cedar notes with hints of tobacco underneath. Integrated and balanced, with plum, currant and leather. Medium finish. Always a treat to taste these, especially alongside an older Laurel Glen.

    September 14, 2018 - 黑醋栗和泥土、皮革的陈年气息。香气成熟,入口的结构感也很强,和以往喝到的优雅隽逸不太相同,但还是能够感受到一些古典风格的元素存在着。
