May 9, 2013 - Wow was this weird. Had been past around as a white elephant gift for a few years. Sweet and flabby.

November 5, 2010 - I've never had a Georgian wine before, so I didn't know what to expect. The nose at first reminds me of Port. Fruit forward with red raspberry, red cherry, strawberry, and rhubarb. A bit of white pepper on the nose, too. The palette starts with juicy red cherry and raspberry. Mid palette goes to a bit of leather, ending with a bit of astringency. Some tannins present to provide structure. The fruit lingers on the palette. This is a sweet wine, but the sweetness is very well balanced with the acidity and tannins. Very good!
