March 21, 2015 - What a great surprise this bottle remains, noting the late drink date and it's supposed drinking window of 2003-2008. It nicely complemented a chocolate tort dessert and delivered black, jammy fruit, made possible by its tannic backbone. Consistent notes from last tasting about six months ago with a candied nose that carries a nice, somewhat spicy finish. Score [ 50 + 5 + 12 + 16 + 8 ] = 91.

November 2, 2014 - I must say that I am pretty impressed with where this bottle is right now. Having held his for years, way past the drinkable window from WS, I was surprised with the fruit that still remains. The candied nose is attractive with an ample backbone that carries a nice, somewhat spicy finish. Score [ 50 + 5 + 12 + 16 + 8 ] = 91.
