August 8, 2010 - Ehhh, just okay, very flat. Opened a bit after several hours, but was over shadowed by all other wines we drank.

January 26, 2010 - Still drinking well with bright red fruit and notes of leather, spice and just a bit of barnyard. Not particularly deep or long, but solid in a more elegant claret style. Best with food.

November 12, 2009 - Popped and poured. Dark, almost black. Earth, somke, blackberry, spice and leather on the nose. On the palate, blackberry, leather, plum, spice. Finishes with soft tannins. Drink over the next two years. Excellent, Great value

April 5, 2009 - Decanted for an hour. Tight, with sour fruit at first. Did open somewhat, became a little more friendly but no finish. Lunch wine.

February 25, 2009 - Considerably better than the last bottle. Reminiscent of Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux, in a good way. Lots of tart cherries, blackberries, and a bit of pencil lead and leather.

November 19, 2008 - Good QPR. Tar and herbs on nose. Sour cherry flavor with drying tannins on finish. Nice food wine, a lot of its rusticity has mellowed.

November 16, 2008 - Tastes well over it's price point. Deep rich plum fig forest nose with slight Brandy. Very dry, tart cherry and apple skin with light spice. Opens up after an hour and explodes with flavor. Great by itself, with rich duck cassoleut, and chocolate.
