May 19, 2017 - Occasional dinner group: Riesling GG and Top Pomerol (@ Zarzo): Mature wine with tropical yellow and white fruits. Good acidity and length. Beautifully ripe fruits.
April 10, 2013 - 2003 Dry Riesling - Ten years after: Light to medium yellow. In the nose, this is at first quite restrained, but then has lots of melon, some freshly polished silverware, a hint of banana and - I have to repeat myself - looots of melon. On the palate, this is fresh, has fresh acidity, seems a tad like lemonade, but is very fine-grained and precise. There's - again - lots of melon in the finish. In total, this seems a bit "made", but it's "made" with style. I really like this wine.

October 3, 2008 - Shared with fifteen wine drinking friends at a tasting, so we could all have a try. This was excellent, just off-dry, with a lovely bouquet and rich, smooth taste. Typical riesling showing through. We all thought this was much better than we had expected.
August 27, 2008 - Lovely again.
June 27, 2008 - excellent. Honeydew and lemon.
May 28, 2008 - Powerful bouquet - some lime flower and sherbert. Not as dry on the palate as the bouquet would indicate. Attractive pure fruit but relatively low 2003 acidity. Very good with salmon.
March 14, 2007 - 10-course Midweek Blowout Wine Dinner (Z-H, Dönnhoff, Deiss, more) (Bodega Bistro, San Francisco, CA): Light petrol nose; spicy, tangy entry, spicy palate; medium finish
October 8, 2005 - WIML91,NOWA,WS93
Tasted October 8, 2005 at an offline. Opened and served immediately in Spiegelau Weiss Wein glasses. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. A little fodel on the nose followed by some orange rind and peaches. Flavors of orange crème and peaches. Nice wine. Can be drank now or held for years to come. Recommended.
