March 21, 2020 - Still has great fresh fruit backed by complex earthy notes. Old and young at the same time. Still drinking very well, but probably time to drink soon.

November 18, 2019 - What a beautiful wine for its age.

Dark purple with really no bricking or visual sign of aging. The nose was amazing with black fruits, a subdued floral aroma, perhaps some fresh prune.

The palate was medium+ in body well integrated and quite lush. Black fruits with allspice, pepper and a slight prune finish which was the only indication of age I could detect.

Will enjoy the remaining bottles, further cellar time is not needed.

July 5, 2019 - Euphoria Wine Club BYOB Dinner (Bakalaki Greek Taverna): This wine is full, complete power. But while I had earlier in the dinner mentioned that there’s no elegance, I take that back. On the nose a huge plume of dried flowers, liquorice, tar, and blue fruits. Intense blackness on the palate as well, perhaps even comparable to the best that Priorat has to offer. Fabulous!

January 14, 2019 - Even though it’s past its drink-by date, according to some, this is still a wine of remarkable purity, a quintessential Clarendon Hills wine. Sweet and pure cherry fruit, with cracked pepper. Drink in the near term. Won’t improve, but it’s drinking fine.
