  October 11, 2023 - At peak !! Like a baby Châteauneuf-du-Pape !!
  Perfect cork, easily removed. Dark color with medium clarity. Consumed at dinner with friends. Aromas of black cherry with a hint of licorice. Flavors of black cherry, fig, blackberry, black pepper, glycerin, and leather with a medium to long fatty finish. A very balanced flavorful blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 30% Syrah, and 30% Grenache reminiscent of Château de Beaucastel. I only wish I had more remaining in my cellar.

  October 27, 2019 - Blend of Mourvedre 40%, Syrah 30%, and Grenache 30%. The Mourvedre seemed to dominate. Didn't evolve much in the glass. Restrained and slightly sharp. Beyond its prime?

  February 8, 2019 - Lots of deep berry fruits in the nose and flavor, blackberries, black raspberries, dried plums, licorice, and spice. Medium to long finish.

  November 8, 2016 - Fading a bit, or at least that bottle was. Blueberry and damp earth, not up to par. Still good, just not up to LC standards.

  September 16, 2016 - Really nice fruit in this one. Blueberry flavors with some spice. Very tasty. Too bad it's my last bottle.
