August 25, 2012 - Wonderfully complex nose featuring melon, grass, jalapeno and something that distinctly reminds me of an auto parts store like Autozone. The palate is nice though not quite as bold, with flowers, minerals, and rounded out with a bit of citrus and tropical fruit. Crisp, clean and enjoyable.
April 4, 2012 - Flowery Alto Adige stuff here. Expresses the site well. Ahh, aromatic whites.
February 15, 2012 - Very strong peach and nectarine flavors followed by lemon. When it warmed up, this wine had a nice thick, viscous texture with vanilla (but not oaky vanilla) and buttery characteristics. Very fresh; very vibrant. Well-balanced. Almost amazing, but not quite.
February 14, 2012 - This might sound bizarre, but I really think this wine tastes of asafoetida (a super-pungent South Asian spice). This is the third bottle I’ve drunk, and every time it hits me. To those in the know, that might not sound very pleasant, but actually, it is—like a rich, dry, riesling that completely embodies the (best part of the) essence of the spice at the same time. There’s also some pineapple and some complex ripe fruit notes.This is a fascinating wine.
December 9, 2011 - This was excellent. A little itter but very good. Nothing like your typical white varietal.
September 7, 2011 - ORTANIQUE Double Blind Brown Bag Dinner (Ortanique, Miracle Mile, Coral Gablesl): - Greenish color with medium forming legs and aromas of cut green grass, lemon and geranium. It's in total harmony and has flavours of lemon with a medium body. Bright texture with a medium finish - Barry's mystery White Varietal, Kerner(from Total Wines and More, Aventura). Blind it seemed to me like an Albarino. The first time anyone had experienced this varietal. Gallioni, apparently loves this producer.

August 24, 2011 - Slate, citrus, mineral, fennel on a lighter than expected mouthfeel given the 14% alcohol (undetectable, but bottle was drunk a tad cooler than I'd prefer). Very clean though somewhat ungiving, I found it less expressive than others, more akin to a rounder Muscadet or Chablis. I may have drunk this bottle too cold, or perhaps it was a touch oxidized or scalped by low-level TCA. I'd like to try this wine again.
July 21, 2011 - Very aromatic. Floral. Bit of spice on the palate. Minty thing coming through on the finish along with alcohol.
June 28, 2011 - bright clean nose of mineral, subtle stone fruit. not complex mid-palate or finish. mineral finish. high alcohol at 14% but integrated well. mid-weight acidity.
