December 10, 2011 - Not quite as good as the last bottle, it is possible this is already starting to fade a bit, as this bottle showed a little less fruit and just a hair less depth than the prior bottles. It still shows solid minerality, though, and is a good slightly-above-average wine that is fresh and clean and goes very well with a fish dinner. Tremendously easy to drink. I still enjoy it, but it is pushing the $17 price point. The LWS is out of stock, and I'm OK with that.

August 13, 2011 - Nice focused Chaintre. Minerally and precise. Decent interest.

April 19, 2011 - Very pleasing, clean and bright. Not complex, but an ideal weekday dinner wine. What one might expect (often wrongly) from a burgundy chardonnay - lemon, minerals, enough richness to bring happiness.

April 17, 2011 - (2/5) Unmistakably chardonnay, although blind I would have guessed "new world" vs. old. Fairly simple but enjoyable and a nice pairing with our crab cakes and cold broccoli salad.

March 7, 2011 - No formal notes. Good minerality and acidity make this a very nice food wine. My wife likes it a lot less on its own, but I think it holds up OK with enough fruit to be tasty. Not profound, but definitely an above-average wine, IMO. I'm not sure I have ready access to more, but this was worth the $17 price point, and I'll see if it is still around.
