September 8, 2023 - Zweder described this as "modern" in 2014 but sadly time doesn't seem to have been kind, and I found this bottle imbalanced with charred oak, heavy, lacking of fruit (despite plenty of colour) and a hard, unexciting finish. More like a dinosaur.

September 4, 2021 - Very dark red/purple color with a 6mm transitional edge. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 3 hours. 76S, 24CS. Lots of black and purple fruits on the nose, ripe black cherry and blackberry, black plum, cedar, tar, boysenberry, and plenty of black pepper. The palate is full bodied, velvety texture with lots of glycerin, the pepper really stands out on the mid and back end, ripe, sweet blackberry, boysenberry, plum, tar, wood, and later a little roasted meat character comes through. Bold and fruity, though staying this side of over the top, yet still a bit more than I'd prefer. No hint of heat here either. Very good, and this is something some will really find appealing. 91+ tp 92pts.

January 18, 2021 - Beautiful Shiraz/cab blend. Stored in cellar 7 years, this can still last longer. Nice rich nose, bold red fruit with a hint of spice and nice long finish. This is good.

November 21, 2020 - A deep intense cherry-red colour with few to no evolution in the glass.
Very intese and lactic in the nose with aroma's of ripe cherries, chocolate.
Fruity start on the palate with again aroma's of ripe cherries (jam even), chocolate, nail polishier, pepper and a hint of coffee.
Refined tannings and well balanced with the acidity.
    Long finish

August 24, 2020 - Liked it a lot. Smokey, red fruit but with a lot of complexity I cannot describe. Still some strongish tannin which I hope would have stoftened by now.
