December 7, 2019 - An extraordinarily well stored bottle, with a perfect cork. I agree with Collector1855, quite austere and ungiving, with some black fruit, funk, earth, and forest floor. It's quite intense on the palate but rustic with little pleasure to offer. Far less oak than the 1995 Lagrange which I served at my wedding. The Lagrange needed a few hours of air to open up. I tried that with this wine, and it just started getting oxidative. Drink up!

April 2, 2019 - Tame, soft, tertiary Bordeaux with earthy, forest floor notes. A bit harmless, hollow mid palate. Decent.

February 23, 2019 - Past its prime, and not a lot of fruit left, but still very drinkable.

December 23, 2018 - Corked; seems interesting enough underneath the slight taint. Stored that long by accident rather than by design.
Unless I am mistaken, this is only my third corked bottle in about 450 tasting notes, so not a major gripe in this household.
