December 28, 2023 - Had this and a 2019, bought from Waitrose for about £11. Incredibly value for money when you consider the longevity. This was singing, still youthful and vibrant. Very impressed.
October 19, 2023 - A few years since I last had this. Mature but holding well. Vibrant apple and citrus fruit. Sweetish but good acidity. Bright crystal. Very nice.
October 13, 2019 - Good purity and focus, tropical fruits all over. This wine is showing way above its price level and kabinet category.
November 26, 2018 - Under screw cap this one is so lively and energetic, fresh with a bit of tropical fruits, spicy and balanced with a touch of higher residual sugar for a kabinett. A very good purchase back in the days.
June 11, 2017 - Good Riesling. Spice, tropical fruit as well as good acidity, citrus and minerality. Very good.
September 30, 2016 - Solid Ruesling opening up well. Chalky, mineral and good citrus notes. Not over sweet but not racy. Ripe year is clear in this. Good end of summer drinking.
March 5, 2016 - Light yellow color
On the nose: petrol, mineral, sweet rubber, wet stone and some fine ripe exotic fruits.
On the palate: Honey, dried apricot, papaya, iron based mineral, sweet orange, nectarine. Not that much acidity but still with a very good balance.
Medium + finish
Still a very nice wine from the herb garden of Ürzig to a very good price.
December 8, 2015 - I enjoyed so much this bottle. So nicely rounded and balanced, with 8 % alc is drinking as easy as a juice, but with the depth and presence at the same time. Delicious with charming golden color and I think it is entering the optimum drinking window.
July 30, 2014 - Same as before. Still sweeter than expected for a kabinett.

Medium finish with a good balance
