September 29, 2017 - We originally bought this wine as a splurge, that was the wine of the night at a comprehensive tasting of 3 producers of Pinot Noir. But this last bottle of ours is no longer supremely dark and rich. The problems stem from a refermentation in the bottle, making the wine fizzy. Flipping the bottle back and forth by hand help work out the carbon dioxide dissolved in the liquid, but other damage was done. The wine lost pigmentation down to a lighter red with a brown tone, and the fruit and texture also subsided. Overall, a once great Pinot became just a drinkable stub of its former self.

March 25, 2017 - Plum & blueberry fruit. A hint of licorice, then a long, leathery finish. Quite good with our nice fatty salmon.

June 14, 2016 - I liked it a lot. My wife said that it had a lot of histamines in it. They bother her. but not me.
