September 11, 2017 - Similar to my last note. Cork soft but intact. This has fruit density but I don't think that further bottle age will be kind to it. Thinking that this will get weird eventually. Plan to drink remaining bottles in coming months. Was pleasant w roasted chicken and rice tonight.

July 6, 2016 - Everything Cru Beaujolais should be! The richness of tart cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, pomegranate, herbs, crushed black rock, and minerals are featured on the bouquet and palate. Focused, with great acid, excellent lift, intriguing texture, and a finish that compels the fortunate taster to swirl, sniff, and taste all over again, and again, and again...you get the picture. Lovely drop! 90-91.

May 9, 2016 - I'm not sure what's going on, perhaps too old? Not corked, but really quite unpleasant immediately upon uncorking and again after an hour of airing. The color appears quite good and a good mouthfeel and body; just an astringent chemical flavor, like someone was trying to sabotage this wine on purpose
