April 26, 2024 - Drank from magnum, decanted for 2+ hours. Beautiful wine that kept developing as the night went on. It hit peak after about 6 hours of air.
January 1, 2023 - Dri king beautifully right now
November 8, 2021 - Drinking great. from magnum can drink or hold
July 25, 2021 - Drinking really well right now. Storage was not idea for about 10 years, but it really did well, nevertheless.
October 26, 2020 - Still has life
April 17, 2020 - Very dry. Light in color, limited amount of fruit and tannins are still quite present. Somehow keeps itself in balance, and though the fruit is on the lighter side, the brightness of the acidity makes this enjoyable. Not sure where this is going but I have three more to check in on.
April 15, 2018 - decanted at restaurant.. first 30-45 mins pretty restrained, but oh does it open up nicely. 1 btl left which (other than patience) I feel in no hurry to consume.
February 1, 2018 - At first a muted nose, but later opened and scent of thyme, violets, rose petals. Elegant balanced palate.
December 1, 2017 - Pleasant but unmemorable. Faded fruit went dark and brooding fairly quickly out of the bottle Earth, leather and anise notes became more prominent. Easy drinking but nothing special.
March 28, 2017 - Moderate color for Barbaresco. Spice notes not s dominate nose with secondary cherry notes. Tart cherry flavors with short finish with some acidity.
