April 23, 2012 - this wine was a little stink bomb. a lighter medium bodied wine with some red fruit aromas but dominated by some funky earth notes. I like!

March 18, 2011 - Nice value, I think. Strawberry dominated the nose and palate, with medicinal/herbal notes lurking in the background. Nice medium weight and very smooth. Finish is short as others have indicated. Definitely drink w/in the next 6 months. Very little structure.

February 10, 2011 - Similar to my previous note - interesting, with some very neat and unique aspects, and incredibly balanced. Still a little weak on the finish, though, and it seems like to be getting just a bit thin and lazy in its "old age" (there's a significant deposit of sediment in the bottom of my last glass as well). Drink up.

October 29, 2010 - Nose is berried, a bit herbal. Palate of red berries, sour cherries, lots of pepper, and sage or other herb. Medium bodied and moderate, somewhat dry tannins. A bit more fruit forward than many Languedoc reds I've had, but peppery and herbs seem very typical. Enjoyable weekly quaffer, good QPR.

October 19, 2010 - Bright red. I get more of the Grenache on the nose than the Syrah--sour cherries and cranberries. Really pleasant mouthfeel. Starts with the fruit and ends with a touch of herbs and bitter, dusty coca. On the light side, but nice and well made.
