February 26, 2023 - This wine gets better with age. Dark red color, slight fading at edges. Plums and blackberries on the nose. Intense blueberry fruit on palate, spice. Raspberry notes on the mid-palate. Well defined tannins, great acidity and balance. Finishes long, long, long with spice and dark fruits. Drinking great now but could actually use 3 to 4 years to develop.

March 12, 2022 - THIS....is why we age these wines. Insane perfume of violets, spice, and citrus with layers and layers of mouth watering purple fruits, orange peel, and more baking spice on the palate. The acidity is dancing so perfectly with the old vine fruit that you can't help but smile after every sip. Not that I needed it....but the first sniff of this wine in the glass validates why Bedrock is by far the #1 holding in my cellar. Sensational effort @bedrockmorgan and @underthewirewine . Glad to have a few more in the cellar as this will be drinking well for a LONG time to come. Cheers!

October 30, 2021 - From 121 year old vines, a field blend of 19 varieties. Deep red color. Plum, blackberry nose. Plush fruit, anise, pepper, plums, blackberries. Nicely resolved tannins, nice acidity and balance. Maybe a tad of heat but not bothersome (at least to me). Finishes long with red fruits and spice. Better the next day. Drink next 4 to 5 years.

September 4, 2021 - Bedrock Vineyard is my favorite offering from Morgan/Chris (which is saying something), and they benefit from age as much or more than any of their other wines. Case in point....this 09 is FIRE right now! The deep dark fruits are playing perfectly with bright citrus acidity and a hint of tannin. This has integrated nicely but it still feels somewhat primary and you can tell it has MILES to go still. Great stuff fellas - looking forward to following my remaining bottles over the next 10 to 15 years.

March 6, 2020 - Love this wine. Dark plums, Blackberries, and just enough acidity. Still almost primary with many years left. Morgan has the midas touch with old vines, but really makes magic with his own vineyard.
