January 4, 2024 - Solid Meursault but nothing special here. Wine has taken on some complexity and while some of the intensity is gone the acid remains. Stone fruits.

May 6, 2022 - Pale gold fading to a clear rim.

Subtle and tart on the nose with signs of a heavier toast. Hits of brioche and perfumed white flowers.

Somewhat hot on the palate. Flavours of white flowers and stone lead to a creamy long finish.

Even at 13 years of age, you have to wonder if this wine is too young.

August 14, 2020 - From a magnum. This bottle was in splendid shape. The wine was youthful, fresh and very energetic, with broad layers of citrus and tropical fruit notes, some flint and loads of minerality. The acidity was a touch sharp on this finish, suggesting upside from here (for the brave, that is).

July 21, 2020 - So for the past couple of weeks I've been going thru all my Boillot '09s, mainly the meursault wines and not one have been ok, all oxidized. The only '09 that was decent to good has been the PM Mouchere which, while ripe, was still very enjoyable.

June 26, 2019 - Tasted blind and my premox alarm bell went off immediately. The ultra-ripe maturing yellow fruits combined with hints of volatile benzaldehyde. A rich and fatty lactic scent around the ripe orchard fruits. Maturing nose of honey and underbrush that reminded me of 2002, a highly rated vintage but with high risk of premox. Ripe fruits and high alcohol, warm vintage, 2002? Proper Premier cru weight. Comte Lafon 2002 Meursault Charmes? (89/100)

May 13, 2018 - Much more expressive than my last bottle; really nice- a wonderful blend of the terroir and house style- tons of minerality with plenty of richness while still maintaining its acidic frame. A strong effort all around.

April 25, 2015 - Terrific showing with depth and layered complexity, loads of minerality and the right amount of acidity, focused, balanced and long while at the same time full and rich.
