Community Tasting Notes 3

December 22, 2009 - Drank over two nights, left the bottle out, with cork in it overnight. First night was almost undrinkable. Strong tannin, oak, not pleasant. On second night the tannins had softened and the fruit was on the palate. Probably past its prime, the tannins will outlive the fruit, as they already have.

November 20, 2007 - This wine is definately not "overaged", it still has fantatstic legs. Drank with Lasagna, this was a fantastic wine. Extremly smooth wine, that was big and bold. Dark burgundy color, big bold flavor, dark cherry, rasberry, smokey flavor, with long hang on the tongue. I had a bottle 2 years ago, and this bottle is MUCH better.

August 10, 2007 - Dark burgundy color with dusty aroma. Dry, earth, dark cherry palate but a bit too oaky.
