November 6, 2022 - Still drinking very well. Cellartracker says I still have one more bottle in my extended cellar - Will have to go searching in the Italy sections!

April 7, 2020 - Decanted for 30+ minutes. Classic Brunello qualities. More enjoyable as it had time open.

March 6, 2020 - Really nice. Strong fruity backbone, good structure. Coravin- popped and poured. Great with food. Drinking well, I think it's time to open these.

December 4, 2019 - Dark, reddish garnet in color with some slight amber & clearing at the edges. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, strawberries & plums with earthy/dusty & floral overtones of violets, a hint of tar, minerals, mushrooms, tobacco, herbs & some cedar notes in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, plums & blueberries with herbs, mushrooms, spices, some cocoa & a some vanilla/oak in the background. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but at 12 years of age, I believe it is approaching its peak of development shortly. A more accessible & modern style of Brunello. IMHO, there is no way this wine is either a "75" or a "54" unless you have an off bottle.
