September 2, 2023 - Unlike the other bottle which I drank a few months ago (which seemed to be at it’s peak), this is just starting to decline. Fruit is still there but this wine of a “lesser” vintage lacks the structure for longer aging. Enjoy it sooner rather than later!

May 15, 2023 - Smoky and cedar nose. Mid-weight body with gorgeous peppery kick. Would buy again.

May 9, 2023 - Ok ok. So this is the first bottle from the case that shows some of the negative aspects of other’s reviews. Deep color. Sweet fruit on the nose…a bit creamy. A bit of mocha. The oak is a bit heavy. Someone said grainy - I agree. Palate follows suit. It’s nice but a bit overdone. Just not as complete as past bottles. (89)

November 25, 2022 - Expressive nose with forest floor, dark cherries, oak. Well-balanced with nice acidity and somewhat still grippy tannins; fresh and round, with black fruits and cherries, tobacco leaves, green leaves, spice, and a medium ending with some oak. The palate is a little flat - a sign of the vintage - but this is overall a very good Left Bank that show finesse and power and that might further improve by developing tertiary notes.
