November 17, 2023 - Subdued fruit came out after 90 minutes in glass. Nice soft red fruit, earthy secondary flavors. Remains enjoyable.

September 24, 2022 - Beautiful aged Oregon pinot. Great nose. Deep red and even purple fruit but balanced with elegance and acidity. Some earthiness, tea and spice. Remarkable how on the flavors come together while still maintaining an elegant, almost weightless feel.

June 18, 2020 - Typical and traditional Pinot Noir nose. Very dark coloring. Tannins fully integrated after 12 years. Still a little acidity on the palette. Smooth and refined. Not a fruit bomb but in a good way.

May 1, 2019 - Captivating. Had w baked salmon and paired very well, but I just wanted to go back to the wine. The viscosity was extremely intriguing. Weightless. I kept wanting to drink more just for the mouth feel. Dark cherry and strawberry on the nose. Dark cherry, tart strawberry and sweet tobacco on the palate. Acid was balanced throughout and soft tannins on the finish. Realitivly short on the finish...but that mouth feel will last a lifetime.

November 23, 2018 - Moderate garnet ruby color. Lovely nose of brambles, strawberries, some spice, and earth. Palate mimicked the nose and was nicely balanced if a little simple. Very nice wine but somewhat simple for this vintage.

October 17, 2015 - Popped and poured. Ruby color. Fine nose of subtle but persistent scents of pine forest, iodine, black raspberry, and beautiful floral notes. Pure core of crisp red raspberry fruit on the palate complicated by iron and flint. Freshening acidity and firm tannins leading to a long finish of mulberry fruit laced with ferric elements and grip. Showing very well but has the stuffing to develop considerably in the next 3-5 years.

October 28, 2012 - Clear garnet core out to a slight mahogany rim - some development showing. Clean nose of dark cherry, spice and oak with some savoury herbal and mineral notes. Dry with sophisticated cherry and herbal/mineral notes on the palate - medium plus acidity, medium body, tannins and slightly elevated alcohol (13.7% on label). Only thing retracting is the slight watery element on the middle of the palate. The finish is medium with the sappy (fruit acid) flavour and spice continuing. Drink now and over the next 3 -5 years. Tasty!!
