May 9, 2019 - Definitely improves with time in the glass and even more overnight. Lush and accessible but not complex.

November 14, 2018 - With Mamoun’s lamb the night before our trip to China. Lovely red and black fruit, garrique, tar and a little vanilla. Best with the lamb kebabs but great on its own, too. Great value for $21 on close-out: wish I had bought more than one bottle. Drink now.

May 28, 2018 - Huge improvement over the last three years. Very dark, probably from the syrah and Mourvedre. Improved dark fruit taste. Taste was the same for day one and two.

October 20, 2016 - Opened for two hours before consuming and drank over the next two hours. Medium dark in color. Improved over the two hour drinking period. The wine became more fragrant.

June 7, 2015 - Dark hue with dark fruit nose. Medium bodied, smooth, dark cherry, strawberry, chocolate. A yummy, lucious fruit bomb. Flavors of bing cherries and vanilla. Great to drink on its own or with food. Drinking nicely right now.

Washington Wine Report

(Gramercy Cellars The Third Man GSM Columbia Valley) Red fruit, earth, and spice on a nose that is still somewhat closed up. Big and rich with luscious red fruit flavors that coat the palate. A bit of a departure from the house style in some respects - this is a bigger, bolder wine - but delicious all the same. 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 20% Mourvedre. Alder Ridge, Minick vineyards. 330 cases produced.
