November 21, 2022 - Still tasting great right now !! I agree with my tasting notes over the past three years.
Composite cork starting to show some saturation after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over three days. This wine improved with air. On day two and three this wine had softened with increased depth and integrated complexity. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry compote, rhubarb, and black tea with a hint of baking spice. This Pinot Noir has a solid medium finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir blend from the Santa Rita Hills. The acidity of this wine makes it age worthy and it may have more years of life left. This was my last bottle of this vintage. A great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

April 25, 2021 - Tasting great right now !! I agree with my tasting notes of 8 & 20 months ago.
Perfect composite cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. As always, this balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day. On day two this wine had softened with increased depth and integrated complexity. The acidity of this wine makes it age worthy and it has more years of life left. I still have two more bottles of this vintage remaining; I may open another few months to verify my review. A great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of cranberry, pomegranate, and rose hips. Flavors of bing cherry, red raspberry, and black tea with a hint of baking spice. This Pinot Noir has a medium finish. This age worthy wine is a balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir that has more years of life left. A great winemaking and blending effort from Greg Brewer. I still have three more bottles of this vintage remaining; I may open another next month to verify my review.

September 7, 2019 - Wow, age has been kind to this wine. The color is still bright, the acid has softened, drinking real well now. Aromma typical of SRH, flavors of ripe red raspberries, medium finish. I'm glad I hung on to more.

December 16, 2017 - A little bricking on this eight-yer-old wine, the nose has s lit of secondary notes. The palate has a lot of secondary notes with some good cherry, a lot of cola, and spice. I do like this, although it is hotter on the palate than the ABV would suggest at 14.1%. Good wine, though not the best of this crazy night. It has been open for a full day

May 4, 2017 - Lovely wine from Greg Brewer. It is certainly well-made, with very expressive fruit, despite the age. A nose full of red fruit, subtle white flowers, forest floor and a strong scent of rose petals meet up at first sniff. Being well-balanced and integrated there is no doubt this effort is the result of skilful winemaking. Of course there is no heat, oak appears balanced as does the acidity and fruit. The 2009 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot will perhaps continue to develop for a number of years, but it certainly drinks perfectly tonight too!

Tasted in a flight with 2009, 2012 and 2015 Brewer-Clifton S:ta Rita Hills Pinot Noir.
