December 17, 2023 - Excellent mature CDP lots of Kirsch, candied raspberry, melted liquorice and baking spice. Still plenty of freshness and structure. Will hold for another 5 years easily, but why wait...

August 6, 2023 - Going to the South tonight.
Very youthful color at age 13 or so- still almost opaque. Lots of candied cherry, kirsch, baking spice , raspberry etc. some herbal notes starting to develop.
Palate matches the appearance- super fresh with lots of acidity and structure. This wine seems built to last.

February 10, 2023 - Birthday gift for my wife from Grinner! Anniversary year. Enjoyed with boeuf bourgignon. Quite nice with 2 hr decant.

December 25, 2022 - It was fun to diversify away from pinot noir for our Xmas turkey dinner (especially since we had an awesome Mt. Difficutly Target Gully the night before). This CDP which was a Parker 95 out of the barrel years ago was purchased via private import from Vinealis. Dark fruit dominant, kirsch, very lush and balanced at this point. Still hot in the first hour or so, white pepper that evolved into cinnamon and baking spices, the finish quite long. Provided a nice punch to the turkey meat, and paired very well with the cranberries and gravy sauces. An admittedly aggressive combination, but quite popular at our Xmas dinner table.
