March 26, 2018 - Disappointing. Decanted for an hour. Ripe, shallow profile with little tannin left. Short in the finish.

September 12, 2015 - 94-95 but gets rounded up due to being so intriguing. Quite well structured, with an alluring nose that kept evolving. At one point we were picking up distinct notes of lavender that aren't at all typical. Then we moved on to exotic spices, jamocha, carmelized brown sugar. Nice fruit that wasn't overripe. The expressive aromas were wedded to an ultra polished palate and lingering finish. Had a touch more acid than many of its flabby competitors in the valley which kept it from getting tired. The epitome of balance for our tastes.

Ironically, had tried a small glass of this via Coravin 9 months ago and it was completely shut down. Just goes to show . . . .
