August 20, 2015 - Much better than our previous bottle (last yr) and was better with some air this time so still needs some time I think. With air it lightened up a bit, became brighter, fresher. Good stuff.

November 2, 2014 - It's going down ok, but probably my least favorite Cobb so far. Darker fruits, more alcohol showing, more funk. Usually I find the Cobbs's much lighter which I love. Vintage? Bottle? Hhhmmmm...

March 14, 2014 - Lots of raspberry and sour cherry. Light, but the 13.6% alcohol is a bit harsh on the way down. A little bit of a sour taste which mostly goes away after an hour of decanting. Overall a very nice Californian pinot, just not particularly deep.

April 10, 2011 - TN: California Pinot "In Pursuit of Balance" tasting (RN74 Restaurant, San Francisco): Nice medium body, good intensity, a hint of candied cherry but not overly ripe.

March 19, 2011 - Decanted this bottle and let it sit for about 2 hours before enjoying it with roast chicken and fingerling potatoes with a side of ratatouille and together it was sublime. This wine is very balanced – the bouquet is dark cherry with a hint of tobacco. Good acid feel, velvet coating of the tongue and the flavors are cassis, cherry, ripe plum with a long finish. This is not a big wine, it is a great example of Sonoma Mt. Pinot wine.
