March 5, 2014 - Extremely surprised how this wine has held up. Delicious soft tannins and juicy fruits still prevail. I wouldn't hold on to this too long, it's right there
January 20, 2014 - We enjoyed this very much. The nose smelled like rose. Good tanins. Leathery with subtle fruit flavor.
November 1, 2013 - The final bottle. Drank beautifully, but I do not htink this one is getting any better and probably has slightly declined from the last one I opened. Drink up!
November 27, 2012 - This is achieving good balance right now. Nose tends towards the sweet side, but still shows spice and wood notes. On the palate this is more sedate, but the elements integrate smoothly. The structure has mellowed but not dissipated completely. At ten years old this is probably the best this will get, but commendations are due for a solidly made, pleasant wine.
September 29, 2012 - This one is drinking absolutely beautifully now. Silky, elegant, balanced. Thankfully I have another bottle...

December 12, 2011 - Wine was kind of flat. Didn't deliver much depth of flavor.
October 9, 2011 - Drank this wine before with a pork loin and did not like it as much as with the ribeye tonight. It is still long on the tongue at the end. Found it sort of earthy.
June 25, 2011 - A bit of leather on the nose, but pretty flat... Dark garnet... very velvet tannins,,nice long finish.. very nice qpr.
May 5, 2011 - My previous notes still stand. However, the taste came out to play much better on this bottle. I popped the last one without giving a proper post-shipping rest. Lesson learned. The fruit came out to play this time and it also has a sweetness (a little more than I generally prefer, but was not bad).
