November 2, 2018 - At pop and pour, this was a gorgeous explosion of red fruit (cherry, raspberries) but as it got air, it gained more blackberries and the red fruit softened to show more subtle, yet ripe, notes. It also showed older plum and bay leaf. Silk like on the palate and in a wonderful drinking window. Young cranberry highlights the finish.

September 4, 2017 - Delicious with salmon. Rich flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. Drinking superbly now.

June 28, 2017 - Medium-deep garnet in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & red currants with spice overtones of cinnamon & cloves, floral notes, hints of sous-bois, earthy, some loam/forest floor notes, dusty, cocoa, cola, minerals & a hint of toasty oak & vanilla undertones in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, strawberries & red currants with spices, cocoa, cola, minerals & a hint of toasty oak & vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present and may be close to or at its peak of development. Although it may hold at its current stage of development, I doubt it will improve with further aging. A big & rich Pinot with good depth.

July 15, 2016 - big and rich style pinot. a bit of heat and menthol on the finish, otherwise a well made wine. seems like it has plenty of life left

August 25, 2015 - Ok Pinot. Nothing too interesting, fairly juicy with little other flavors in the body or nuances in the nose. Tannins are still well-structured however which leaves a nice finish for about twenty seconds, unfortunately then there is some heat.
