April 26, 2020 - Retail $45. 100% Pinot Meunier. I bought six of these back in 2013 (before the great southern migration to Houston) and according to Cellar Tracker, I have consumed five bottles now, but this is the first tasting note I have written. Huh? I thought I was better than that. Decidedly golden with that characteristic Meunier floral note, but there is also tons of baked goods: brioche, croissant, Twinkies (OK, that was a joke). Tart and creamy on the palate with a fervent sparkle, I am not usually a fan of 100% Meunier, but this will do quite nicely, merci. thedrunkencyclist.com

January 26, 2020 - Enjoyed at a large family anniversary celebration. A true Blanc de Noir (100% Pinot Meunière). Very muscular style, fine mousse, aromatic and complex....all for less than $30. Unfortunately, the 2008 Lancelot-Wanner Bas de Saron was enjoyed concurrently and was superb.

November 23, 2013 - A bigger, more masculine style Champagne. Medium and bright golden color. Made of 100% Pinot Meunier displaying a fantastic amount of frothy mousse, and lots of exhilarating, effervescent, very tiny bubbles. Big aromatics. Toasty and yeasty aromas and flavors of crisp apples, tart pears, and dried apricots with enough nutty and mineral complexity to make this very enjoyable. Above average finish with an outstanding QPR at $29.

October 23, 2011 - Aromas of stewed apples, lilac, lavender with a hint of freshly baked pie dough. Palate shows apple pie and pear tart with lively acid. It has an elegant and long finish. Even with 100% Pinot Meunier, the fruit is well balanced and carries a lot of finesse.

December 28, 2010 - NY/NJ WLTV Offline at Anthony Davids (Anthony David's, Hoboken): Yeasty and apple notes on the nose. Similar flavor profile on the palate with an interesting lemon verbena-ish kind of note. Crisply structured. High acidity with a long finish. Nice stuff.
