October 31, 2017 - Very smooth, fine tannins. Deep rich mulberry and blackberry fruit with strong oak to match. Brings to mind Cullen Diana Madelaine. Classy and decidedly rich; sans savoury characters and red fruits. 10 years old but barely middle aged. Its quality is undeniable, but begs for rich tasting sauces and/or meats [Aussies would say, lamb, duck too?] on a special-meal night.
... Drinking even better on night two.
