September 1, 2019 - Sunday wines and not wines (Chicago, IL): Like a field of flowers. The nose has this stunning set of complex floral aromatics to supplement that musky, slightly foxy, muscat smell. The palate has a hint of residual sugar. There's a good richness and breadth here, but the acidity's lower than I'd like and this feels a little oilier than I like. Nonetheless, the nose alone is worth the price of admission.

November 23, 2012 - Renk açık kehribar. İlk burun ekşimsi maya-hamur. Çevirince vegetal, zeytin, deri. Meyvesmilik zayıf. Hafif okside. Herbal notlar. Damakta yoğunluğu iyi, diri. Alkol biraz önde. Orta üst gövdeli, bitimi de orta üst. Bitimde alkolün yakıcılığı.

May 1, 2010 - A most interesting wine. On the fade as other posters have noted, but still has layers of odd and interesting characteristics. Muscat grapyness there, with sauternes notes. Butter toffee, baked apples with spice, and sherry. This was quite a wine, and gangbusters with a quiche. Thanks to Andy for opening it.

April 30, 2010 - I found myself wishing I'd not waited to drink this but it was delicious and memorable all the same. Nose like a well-aged Sauternes, palate like a funky dry Muscat (which is a strange enough kind of wine already); caramel and grapefuit rind, as another taster noted, with a decadent tropical perfume balancing a slight oiliness. Really a fun wine and I'd love to try a younger example. Pretty nice with the caramelized onion quiche.

February 19, 2010 - On downhill slide. Nevertheless, very interesting caramel/grapefruit nose (most guessed gewurz). The nose was broad and promising, and the initial impression on the palate was sumptuous with adequate structure to provide some liveliness, but the finish was flat and brief.
