March 18, 2016 - A sensational nose of candied cherries and earthy scents from this medium ruby colored Pinot Noir raises expectations. While this is not my favorite style of pinot, it exhibits complexity on the palate devolving into an unmistakable sweetness and density that screams a pinot trying to be a Bordeaux blend. I will take a pinot. Nevertheless, for those that enjoy a concentrated, sweet pinot noir, this is about one of the best efforts I have tasted as it finishes long (and sweet).

December 28, 2014 - Still bright fruit and well balanced. %0d%0aThe wine has a garnet appearance with slow legs. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It's nose is like juicy ripe red currant, heirloom iris and faint eucalyptus. The flavors have nuances of red plum, black currant (cassis), and pomegranate. It has medium body and bright mouth-filling texture that continues to develop as it is open. A very bright texture makes us think it has many more great years ahead. The wine finishes long with low acidity.
