February 29, 2024 - Following on from 2023, caramel fudge, little white pepper, smooth tannin, this wine has continued to develop and I am really enjoying the short life it has remaining…..

February 16, 2023 - Fascinating how this wine has developed, dark ruby in colour, French Oak dominant on the nose and liquorice characteristics on the palate. Long, caramel finish, low tannins. This is a delicious aged wine, It’s a well crafted one as I wasn’t expecting it to last this long and it certainly doesn’t resemble a Sangiovese at this point.

January 11, 2023 - A bit fruitier than a Sangiovese from Italy. Chocolate blackberry

July 23, 2018 - On the nose jammy notes of blueberries upon popping. Medium to full bodied, very fruit driven, showing a bit jammy flavors of blackberries with a floral/perfumy note. Smooth and gentle tannins. A bit of an oddball wine. Not much sangiovese typicity and surprisingly youthful. It is drinkable but not quite worth the spend of 35€.

    July 10, 2018 - Wow.

Four years since my last bottle and ... this is on-song. It exceeds my expectations - so a good test.

Zero sign of ABV - but it's 15% ABV. So delicious fruit, smooth tannins. Drinking very well.
