November 4, 2013 - Well, I can't say I hate this wine, but it's hard to detect anything beyond the oak. Some nice acidity (which suggests it may still have a few years left), but, like the vast majority of new world chardonnays, the oak just dominates everything else. Certainly not worth the price and little character to distinguish it form dozens of similar examples of the genre.
