September 3, 2016 - Very pleasantly fruity, nicely mature and relatively light compared to the fullest vintage ports. Being only moderately sweet it was a perfect match with the salty hard Parmigiano cheese. Would struggle with sweet desserts.
Hopefully it will still develop and gain some complexity since I have three more of this wine. To say the least there is no hurry to drink it up right now.
