April 1, 2024 - This was dark plum/ruby colored, medium bodied, full round black berry and plum fruits are accented by notes of bitter dark mocha chocolate and hints of anise, elegant spices and cedar with notes of tobacco on a moderate tannin laced lingering smooth polished finish.

April 1, 2023 - Much more balanced than 5 yrs ago. Great middle age cab
March 9, 2023 - Consistent with my earlier tastings when I wrote of this wine back in 2011, "Dark inky color, medium-full bodied, concentrated full round black berry, black cherry, and ripe plum fruits with accents of spice and cedar on smooth moderate tannin lingering finish. Better the next evening when it had time to settle.

November 26, 2022 - Drinking beautifully, wonderful tertiary notes starting to show: red, metallic iron, dark balsamic, charred cherry pie crust, baked cherry, crushed wild raspberry, Redman chewing tobacco, dried chocolate, and chunky, dusty red earth. Entering the mature phase, but still displaying clear deep, ruby colors and freshness from the underlying structure. Unlikely to improve from further cellaring, but this is far from fading. Drink now or through 2028.
December 4, 2021 - Shared with friends. Lots off depth - drinking great right now.
October 10, 2020 - Silky, smooth, can tase some raisin, black cherry, tannins gone. Wine still there. Good fruit. Really enjoyed.
June 27, 2020 - Very clean with a faint soap aroma. Smooth with very fine tannins. Juicy, lush with a slight tartness on the finish. Red fruits, strawberry, cherry and a hint of cola. Quite enjoyable, very nice wine.
February 15, 2020 - fantastic. time to drink up.
September 21, 2019 - Decanted and enjoyed with a grilled medium rare ribeye. This wine continues to improve with age and resides in a very good place, but is not mature. Very balanced with fruit, oak, tannin and acid all in harmony. Showing some complexity with chocolate covered cherry, black coffee, and moist earth. Still displays lots of fruit. Not sure how long this will go, or whether fruit or structure will fade first, either way, I’m guessing this should cellar for another 4-5 years.
February 10, 2019 - Tonight this was consistent with my earlier tasting when I wrote of this wine back in 2011, "Dark inky color, medium-full bodied, black berry, black cherry, and ripe plum fruits with hint of spice and cedar on smooth moderate tannin finish."
