Community Tasting Notes 4

Brukbar lengde. En god vin men for tydelige fataromaer for min smak. Fortsatt holdbar, men blir neppe særlig bedre.

    Rating: 2 Good..

March 18, 2009 - Nose: Intial impressions were perfume, white and red florals, red and black tree fruits with a background of oak-nuttiness performing with the leached vanillins. As time went on, the florals just kept on coming back for more and more waves of olfactory pleasure.

Palate: Plenty of red fruits with an oaky structure. Can not only smell, but also taste the vanillins. As the night when on, I became convined that there was quite a bit of toasted oak vanillins in this wine. In terms of tree fruits, I tasted cherries and lots of dark plums.

Overall: Soft, balanced, integrated. Still a brawny wine and by all accounts should be considered a young wine. I think additional suppleness and smooth characteristics will eventually take up more of a formal presencein this wine. 91 poinits.
