December 25, 2018 - Noticeable bricking. Dried fruits almost tasting like a tawny port. Really enjoyable however I would definitely not hold any longer.

March 31, 2018 - From a bottle that had been professionally stored at ~14 degrees almost since release.
Translucent core, medium garnet, still appearing quite lively. Quite graceful on the nose, ripe plums and dried plums, cocoa, spice, and a touch of dried coconut that is blended in well. Rich, medium to full body, leather and prune notes mainly on entry and midpalate with a slightly crude coffee grind twist on the finish that I recall from younger Bin 28s in the past (eg 2004). Tannins mostly fully resolved.
Will probably hold for another couple of years, but I don't think there is much more development to be gained.
February 16, 2018 - Medium garnet, translucent, amber edges. Pronounced sweet black cherry nose, dusty, lead pencil, vanilla, hint of prunes. Medium-full body, round dark red and some black fruit flavors, losing a bit of fruit, so that tannin is a bit prominent. Medium aftertaste, nice flavors. I think slightly past its peak, would drink up.
January 8, 2018 - Last bottle for me.
Straight from the get go. A nice wine which is almost at its peak.
Nice vanillin with subtle nose of pencil shavings and black berry. Medium body and finishes with good length and fine tannin. The oak has almost fully integrated .
Should last a few more years at its peak.
July 26, 2017 - Fading brick red appearance.
All manner of dark fruits, dusty earth, pencil lead, & vanilla come through on a powerful nose.
This full bodied Shiraz has mellowed into a leathery, savoury style that overshadows the spicy blackberry and black plum fruit. Ends with a slight alcoholic hit, but also notable length.
Fully mature; it's holding together well, with enough tannin keeping the structure in place.
June 2, 2017 - Aging and developing very nicely. Tannins integrated, flavours of fading black fruits and earthy tones. Decent length too.
December 25, 2016 - Opened Xmas day. Decanted for 3 hours & drank really well.
October 2, 2016 - Pretty impressive at close to 20yrs. Probably the way Shiraz should be consumed often
