March 24, 2021 - Deep black cherry robe with tawny rim. Superb nose of ripe red fruit and sun dried tomatoes plus vanillary tones. palate is dense, rich and smooth with an abundance of black cherry. bilberry and strawberry flavours, soft tannins and sweetish, jammy finish. A really satisfying fruit laden wine with an almost perfect balance.
August 14, 2018 - Med red with clearing purple edge. Bouquet is elegant, mature, red fruit based with a hint of VA. Flavour is quite fresh with loads of red fruit and elegant acidity.
February 8, 2015 - Sweet and simple. If you have 'em, drink up.
August 14, 2011 - Average red - some vegetal notes on nose underlying some fruit. Palate is slightly artificial in quality - but subtle and hard to pin down. Otherwise light acid/tannin - some light berry notes. Not overly complex but as others have said, i guess decent value for money - will not disappoint.

January 6, 2011 - This is a new label to me, but I was very impressed with the herbaceous and plum character of this classic California Cab. Smooth tannins, some spice in the aftertaste. Honest, straight-forward, and varietally correct. Drink 2011-14.
December 12, 2010 - Agree with notes below. Nice effort especially for the money, ten bucks. Enough backbone to keep it interesting. Would be a great house wine to buy by the case...
November 21, 2010 - Surprisingly good, cheap Napa cab. Oodles of blackberry, strong oak, but not overwhelming. Well integrated. Young and tight. Best after 4+ hours on air, tannins ease back and becomes a smooth, supple wine with enough acid to keep it fresh. very highly recommended.
