March 27, 2022 - Nice wine fro 20 yes old. Good structure , decent fruit , smooth. Long time fan of Pride.

August 15, 2021 - Quite surprising, actually. I cannot recall this wine, from other vintages, lasting much more than a decade, never mind two. Very smooth, with deep fruit, soft tannins and just a hint of acid for balance. A bit more acid balance and I would have put it in the 97 range. Mocha and blueberry (not raspberry) hints. Structurally intact.

I say no hurry; good for another 5 years at least.

May 14, 2021 - Some think it's over the hill. I think it's perfect, but right at the tail end of window if you still want to tase the fruit characteristics in balance with the secondary. Lovely with wagyu on the rocks.

February 15, 2021 - This is in a very good place right now, but clearly is at peak and there is no reason to wait any longer.
The fruit is in the background but you can still taste the blackberries if you concentrate. Earthy, tobacco, spices, leather are all present. The finish is on the long side of medium with a very pleasant chocolate layer. Still big enough to hold up to Beef Wellington
Day 2- no loss. So I would say there is still life here, but I don’t see any point in waiting.
