September 8, 2016 - Fruit and earth. Very reminiscent of an old world Cab Franc! Lots of earth and terroir as well as fruit (dark cherries, plums) on the nose.
October 1, 2015 - Absolutely beautiful light elegant delicious Niagara Cab Franc with just a hint of bell pepper. Bravo Brian Scmidtt for making such a great wine in a difficult vintage which just speaks to how good a winemaker you are and at $13 this is punching way above it's weight
November 1, 2012 - A bit light and thin, reminded us more of a Pinot. Same vegetal qualities typical of cab Franc. Would not buy again.

May 29, 2011 - Very light bodied and thin. Nose has musty earth, barnyard notes...palate is light, akin to a pinot. Some cherry fruit in there. Not digging this, needs more structure and backbone.
May 23, 2011 - Interesting aromas of Earth and soil, there was a lot of structure to this wine with a lovely taste and good balance.
