February 17, 2020 - I found this one while I was reorganizing my wine last month and decided to give it a try. I was blown away. I thought this would have been over the hill but it wasn’t. The fruit and oak are in harmony and the finish lasts for a long while. A very pleasant surprise.
November 15, 2019 - Clearing some cellar space and assumed this would be over the hill. Just the opposite though like DSILVER noted just a few months ago this showed great dark cherry color with lots of fruit and a bit o' tannins balancing it out. Wish I'd bought a few more to forget about :-)
Update: Saved a little for second night and was rewarded. Surprisingly this got more settled deep dark cherry and blackberry fruit tannins mellowed and was better 2nd night although upon open it was quite tasty. With well stored bottles you've probably got another ?? 1-2yrs.
July 1, 2019 - Full of fruit and oak, not a hint of brick
October 30, 2016 - This wine has integrated nicely. It has a balanced nose, with blackberry, some oak and smoke, and a little cherry. The palate was smooth, with slight hints of dark chocolate some dark berries, the tannins finishe very nice and smooth
July 4, 2015 - Great cab for the price point. Not exactly AV tasting but would have guessed Sonoma-ish. Wished I had got more.
February 10, 2015 - My Last bottle and another disappointment.
January 21, 2015 - Poor storage on our part. Bottle was exposed to too much temp variation.
December 24, 2014 - Drinking quite nicely now.
July 6, 2014 - Less tannic bite and better balanced a year later, more aromatic, edgy decent everyday wine, and therefore a mediocre value
