May 14, 2022 - Sick…..give it an hour but regal and delicious

October 10, 2020 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep yellow/light gold center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose showed dried apricot, citrus, apples, minerals, and a touch of oxidation.

In the mouth, this wine was a touch flabby at first, as might be expected from the color, but firmed up nicely with air. Afterward, it had nice balance, richness, and length. The acidity was beautifully integrated.

This wine was certainly on its last legs but it was impressive nonetheless. It rated 94 points for a while during the tasting but I settled on 93. Only look for pristine bottles and drink soon.

December 8, 2019 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep gold center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose had a butterscotch, apple, and mineral inflected nose at first. I was told this wine appeared flesher when first opened. Then, after an hour+ of air, the wine became fresher. It showed much less butterscotch and added lemons and pears.

In the mouth, this wine had crisp acidity which gave the impression it was a touch sweet and sour. It had decent balance and good length.

Clearly this bottle was a bit long in the tooth and I would be willing to bet most of them are. Drink up by either P&P or give it a couple hours in a decanter.
