August 15, 2023 - Deep and extracted, with some eucalyptus notes. This isn’t really my style, and I preferred a bottle of the Seven Acre from the same vintage tasted earlier this year. Not going to improve from here. Pop and pour.

August 13, 2023 - Almost all heat and VA at this point, with rather light coloring and sappy raspberry fruit. Hard to nail down the varietal blind as I didn't get any pepper spice notes.

June 15, 2023 - I love where this wine is. Still a tannic spine, luscious black and red fruits. Tar, mint, coffee, tobacco, black pepper. Delicious!

January 15, 2023 - Bought both bottles from Wine Exchange and they must not have had good storage on these wines. Bottle number 2 and just not what i had hoped for. Among the least favorite of all the Greenocks I've had yet see other reviews showing quite differently for this one. Had a decent nose maybe a hair better than the previous bottle but really not much depth or character. Very jammy in the mouth with no structure to support it. Definitely drinkable just not remarkable

October 30, 2022 - still drinking beautifully after 21 years. Great nose and concentration. Blackberry, boysenberry and blueberry. Impressive

August 20, 2022 - Dark ruby, bricking on the side. Nose is very developed, with garrigue, raisins, tobacco, leather. Great balance, with nice acidity, lots of plums, blackberries, but also lots of leather and tobacco leaves - I really liked how complex the palate was. Tannins are completely integrated, and the ending is long with oak and vanilla notes and residual raisin notes that last for a good while.
A great, aged Australian Shiraz - mature and ready. No need to wait any longer - but this should last 3-4 more years easily. Excellent!

    October 25, 2021 - Still simply superb!
Beautiful dark and a hint of red fruit, still just enough acidity, lovely soft texture and a very very long finish.
So glad we have 1 left!
