April 10, 2006 - Rather tart. Hoping to drink last bottle very well chilled on a hot day.
January 1, 2006 - did not like at all - golden colour was a give away that this was past it, still had useful acidity and some varietal character but otherwise not tasty - used all bottles for cooking....
December 7, 2005 - Puckery lemon, lime zest, and gooseberry attack the palate with steely acidity, while loads of minerals and a briny element lend a bit of complexity. An intense wine that some won't like. But for those of us that occasionally enjoy a peel the skin off your tongue experience, this wine is a treat. A natural with shellfish, or by itself on a hot summer day. My rating of 87 and a price tag of $10 makes for a good QPR, if you're into this style of wine.
