April 3, 2012 - Wow! This has continued to benefit from cellar aging. Consistent with previous notes regarding nose and taste, but all seem even more harmonious in this bottle.
A beautiful golden yellow color. The notes of lemon and subtle oak throughout have been joined by raw honey, honeydew melon and chamomile. Quite full on the palate, and finishes clean, with lingering notes of Chamomile.
I did not notice any deterioration in the wine over three days (used vacuvin immediately after each pour). This is definitely at its peak, so drink up and enjoy over the next six months to a year. -

August 30, 2011 - This has developed very nicely in bottle in the 2+ years since my last one. Retains the golden color. The notes of lemon and (now) subtle oak throughout have been joined by raw honey, honeydew melon and chamomile. This has become more full on the palate, and finishes clean with lingering notes of Chamomile.
The wine suffers with excess exposure to the air. Drink up your remaining bottles, but they are still drinking extremely well right now. -

December 29, 2008 - Beautiful rich gold color. From there, this vintage disappoints versus previous vintages. Nose of oak and lemon. The palate is thin, with the same notes from the nose. Likewise, the finish is merely pleasant in comparison to previous vintages. Don't get me wrong. This is still a very nice wine, but just a disappointment from past vintages. The climate must have made for a challenging vintage.

August 3, 2008 - Startling gold colour, almost orange. Lots of oak on the nose , toasty, nutty. Served too cold initially, but opened up nicely as it warmed up -- lots of tropical fruit (melon, honeydew, pineapple). Considerable oak on the palate, but lots of bright acidity. Long finish, crisp but nice and fruity too.

April 10, 2008 - Not nearly as nice as the 2003. The palate was thinner and the finish not as strong. Still a nice chardonnay. Perhaps it will integrate and develop with a little more cellar time.
