December 27, 2023 - Opened at Torrisi, 12/26/23. Beautiful, straw-gold, transparent and clear color. Simultaneously precise and fat in all the right way of a ripe vintage Lafon. The bottle was purchased and stored from the original release by Douglas.

January 26, 2018 - Past its prime. Was shining a couple of years ago. Seems to be fading. Very acidic at first. Came together al little more after decanting. Never reached its earlier level. Waited to long maybe. Or an off bottle. Drink up

January 7, 2018 - couleur doré pale; nez avec du soufre au début qui part apres quelques minutes. Nez plutôt léger sur le citron et minéralité. Bouche bien équilibré, aucune lourdeur, belle patine mais avec une certaine nervosité. Belle bouteille sans défaut.
