July 10, 2013 - This is developing in into a lovely Pinot. Wonderful and smooth fruit that has become completely integrated. Drink up!

February 13, 2012 - Amazingly complex for the price. Cherry and rasberry with underlying subtle earthy core. I really like this pinot. Has 4 or 5 yrs.

January 12, 2012 - cherries and very pronounced pine trees, pine tree sap. It reminds me of the smells after moving the freshly cut Christmas tree around. All of a sudden, it is Christmas again... ;-)
Behind it all it has a dark caramel note.
    Good acidity and fruit concentration.
Has a very light bitter note on the back end I assume a little airtime will blend it all in. (Confirmed - gone)
Persistent finish that lingers on the above aromas.
I've just opened it and it will benefit a bit from air time where I expect some more pronounced little red fruit aroma.
Now, after 1 hr and at the end of the dinner, the Pine notes are a little more integrated, bringin fresh cut grass clippings at times.
Well integrated, no bitterness (as before) and good fruity / caramel finish.
    Nice

December 18, 2011 - This was a surprisingly amazing Pinot for the price. Dark hue with full, complex structure. Leather, spice (esp nutmeg), and dark fruit all woven together with a very mineral backbone. Have to buy more.
